Mission Lazarus

As you all know, some of the families in our class are part of a very worthy cause. They are helping to support the work of Mission Lazarus in Honduras. They give of their means every month to sponsor two of the children there. Jon and Stacy thought that our blog would be a great place to share this info about our class's sponsored kids and their pictures for you all to see.  Thank you to those of you that are supporting such a great cause!

  1. Thanks for posting these pics! I think it's really neat that our class has taken on the financial responsibility for these two orphans that Mission Lazarus took in!!

Cameron Hartsell is the groups and construction coordinator at Mission Lazarus. He has a blog and there's a picture of Selvin, our older boy, learning how to work wood on a lathe in the Mission's woodshop. Mission Lazarus not only provides physical sustinence and spiritual guidance to the children, but it also provides them with a skill or trade they can use to make a living once they graduate and are on their own.

Here is the link to Cameron's blog: http://cameronhartsell.tumblr.com/ The picture is on the Tuesday, March 30th post.
